Yesterday I had a go at welding for the first time! Once I realised I was meant to earth the piece that was being worked on... I was quite happy with my progress. Today Istarted to prepare the area for shotblasting but I didn't have the correct sized media? Hopefully I can pick some up tomorrow. I am using a large Hippo bag to keep all the grit in one place. I have another shot of the rear of the chassis, which, as you can see has quite a few holes, some of which are very close to brackets. I'm wondering whether I can drill them out and fill them with weld?
